Giving something back to the communities we work in is an important part of Openwork’s approach to business. We have therefore established the Openwork Foundation to be the focus of our charitable activity.
Through the Openwork Foundation we support people who face disadvantage, poverty or physical or mental distress. We do this by supporting charities that help disadvantaged people to achieve a more independent future.
The Foundation’s current theme is ‘Cares 4 Kids’. This programme supports disadvantaged children and young people up to the age of 18 to help them move from dependence to independence.

Brian Downton the practice principle is doing two challenges this year for the foundation.
He has completed the nightrider challenge for the past 2 years, cycling 65 miles around london overnight in June raising funds for the foundation. He is again for the 3rd year doing this challenge.
He is also doing the Coast and Castles challenge in April cycling 200 miles from Edinburgh to Newcastle over 3 days.
